About Us

About Nomadness:

Nomad-ness celebrate’s all things nomad. Grey Nomads. Digital Nomads. Family Nomads. International Nomads.

Our vision is to Make Camping Simple.

That is to create camping experiences with No-madness!

Founding partners are Craig and Rachel Allan. They are travellers and campers at heart. Their mission is to experience Australia in their Camper Trailer with their 4.5yo daughter and energetic puppy. They aim to be true ‘digital nomads’.

Nomadness will bring together a range of resources that are already in existence and make it easy for you to access and personalise for your next camping trip – whether it be for 1 week or 1 year!

Through our social media we want to engage and connect with you – campers and travellers – enable you to share your experiences and connect with others.

Today you can join us on Social Media and Subscribe to our Newsletter. Tomorrow you will be able to access a directory of camping resources. Next week there is more and in a year – amazing things will happen!

Would you like to see how you can contribute or even partner with Nomadness? It would be great to hear from you.

Nomadness will change the way short-term and long-term campers plan their journeys. Personalisation is the unique difference and the ability to bring existing resources all together in one place. Learn more about what the service will achieve here.

About this blog:

Like a campfire brings travellers together to tell stories and offer advice - as does this blog.  We invite travellers and campers to share their stories through guest blogging or adding a feed to your blog, website or facebook page. You are invited to add comments and share your like experience.

About Rachel as a travel blogger:

If you believe that life is about the journey and not the destination then read on.

Travel brings freedom from the every day life - it enables you to see new places and have new experiences. The logisitics of travel can be daunting, however 'side-trips' and 'un-planned stops' can and often bring with them new adventures. Travelling with young children, in our case a 4.5 year old, also brings a host of other issues to contend with. Yet there excited faces when they are exploring new places and meeting new friends is a joy to see.

Many limit themselves from travelling because of money. So what if money was not an issue. What if you travelled cost-effectively and could earn money while you were 'on-the-road'? That is what we are setting out to prove - that you can grow a business and travel at the same time.

If you believe in abundance and believe that you can have your cake and eat it to, then read on.

Visionary was initially founded 10 years ago. The purpose of being in business has not changed in all that time. To bring financial freedom. The way that we have set about to earn that financial freedom has changed, but the goal hasn't. A focus in the last few years has been that of creating a business that we could 'take on the road' to become 'digital nomads' offering services that are accessible, online and automated and also servicing our clients.

Many people create businesses that become nooses around their neck - becoming a slave to their business. We have never wanted that and have continually evolved the business as our lifestyle has changed. Seeking opportunities that are not reliant on us being in one geographical place. Technology supports us in achieving this - as it can any business.

So the challenge is to be diligent enough to continue to grow your business, enjoy the travel and have family time....

Family for us is each other - just gone 9 years since our very first 'coffee-date' and Miss S - a vibrant, energetic, intelligent 3.7 year old. Plus Mr 19, grandies, aunts, uncles and cousins of all genres, shapes and sizes.

The three of us will be getting on-the-road and off-the-grid, sometimes bush camping, occasionally caravan parking, possibly even friends 'driveways'. Always self-sufficient, never over staying our welcome and in-search of a destination that just doesn't appear.

Enjoy our story.....
